Approximately 30,000 alumni are entertained and fed in the festival-type atmosphere prior to the Homecoming Football game. Each year thousands of Morehouse College alumni come “home” to reconnect, reunite, and reminisce with their Morehouse College family. Morehouse Homecoming events are also well attended by the Atlanta community, as well as the other members of the Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUC), which include Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, and Morehouse School of Medicine.

This is our “State of the Union” event hosted by the President of the Morehouse College National Alumni Association. All alumni are invited to attend this information session as we address where we’re going. Join us as we celebrate the vision for the future and network with some of the most respected Morehouse alumni in the nation. You will leave this energizing event with alumni exposure and practical business takeaways.

Approximately 300 members and their guests, students and companies attend the gathering to be entertained by music, competition and alumni reunion. Hosted in October during Homecoming and May during Alumni Reunion/Commencement.

This is our event to break bread and reconnect with some of the great Morehouse men who have helped pave the way for the current generation. There will be live entertainment, dancing, great food, and amazing networking opportunities, too. An award will also be presented at this event.
A Candle in The Dark Gala

The Gala has become one of the nation's premier events that celebrates African American achievements. Past Honorees include Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson '72, Danny Glover, John Hope Franklin, Hank Aaron, Muhammad Ali, Arthur Ashe, Andrew Young, David Satcher '63; Cornel West, and Oprah Winfrey.
Rite of Final Passage

This ceremony is the inaugural event of Commencement weekend and offers the first opportunity for families to see their sons wearing academic regalia. This begins the final stage of transition from Men of Morehouse to the regal status as Morehouse Men. Sponsors can add to the gift bags presented to the graduating class at this ceremony.

The Living Legends Alumni Mixer is a fundraiser event where we recognize the legends of Morehouse College. All contributions help to support the Morehouse College Annual Fund and Selected Alumni Affinity Groups. Every year this event raises over $70k for The Morehouse Annual and Restricted Funds.

Morehouse College Football and Basketball Home Games

Morehouse College welcomes more than 15,000 attendees to its Football and Basketball games each year. The MCNAA sets up a display table to promote the MCNAA brand, membership, merchandise, and that of our corporate sponsors to all home game attendees.
